▬ ABOUT THIS VIDEO ▬
Nolah vs Casper | Mattress Review Guide (2019 UPDATE). In this video, Jeff discusses Casper vs Nolah. These are two online bed in a box foam mattresses.

Nolah: This is an affordable mattress in a box that uses a proprietary foam that sort of feels in-between memory foam and neutral foam. Overall, it’s a very soft or plush mattress that offers ample pressure relief. As such, we think Nolah is best for side sleepers. The bed is also fairly inexpensive with a queen size after discount usually below the $900 mark.

Casper: Might be the most popular bed in a box brand on earth. The company offers several different mattresses, inlcuding the Original Casper mattress, Casper Hybrid and Casper Wave. The Casper beds have a soft neutral foam feel and are ideal for all types of sleepers, including back, stomach and side. Casper beds are a little more expensive than Nolah.

  1. so i'm on a nolah. and i've layed for maybe 30 min on a casper. when i laid on the casper i had been sleeping on original purple. i am a side sleeper 5'8" about 230 lbs.

so felt like the purple was too firm, it was incredibly supportive and felt great on back and stomach but hurt my shoulder on my side. did not hurt my hips on my side. even though i was "in" the mattress as it conforms, you feel like you're "on" the mattress firmness wise. so i laid on casper.

casper felt like the same amount of support but the top layer was plush, and more comfortable to me. it didn't feel as conforming as purple and my shoulder still hurt a little but that top layer was more comfortable.

so then i ordered nolah because i really wanted a side-sleeper bed. i hated it or about 2 months. but then it's grown on me, i still don't love it. nolah is very soft. you sink more than the other 2 and it's warmer than purple (purple felt neutral to me). my shoulder does not hurt at all. however my hips sink too much and they will hurt on occasion. i the biggest difference is it does not feel supportive like the other 2. purple and casper felt very supportive but i did't love the top layers. nolah i LOVE the top layer (it does feel like fluffy foam, it's weird) but hate the support layers. it's also only 10 inches deep so that might be part of the problem. i also weigh enough that i should probably have coils and that could be the problem. i just wanted to share that experience in case it helps anyone

  2. Another great video from Slumber Yard – keep up the good work! The effort you put into the videos is reflected through your consistency + quality of the videos 🙂 Big fan here!

  3. Might get the. Nolah bed just to adopt a animal, but the neutral feel of Casper would do wonders for my back. Thanks slumber yard team for all the time you put in to make these videos.

  4. I think my fat a$$ should just loose some weight…then I can get some decent support from a bed like Nolah 🤷‍♀️

  5. Can I live in the mattress room.
A fluffier memory foams sounds like a happy medium, but the zone support on the Casper sounds really innovative!

  6. The Nolah Original is the ultimate side sleeper mattress. The Nolah Original looks really nice with the organic cotton cover. I like the variety from Casper with their new hybrids though. Thanks for the comparison.

  7. great comparison…which one would offer the best pressure relief in the hip area for a side sleeper? Im leaning towards Nolah?
