  1. Let me see if I got this straight. If your phone has a sim tray it's GSM but, if your phone has a sim tray it's CDMA. Got it.

  2. Aren't you the guy that works in the kiosk stand at the mall selling phone covers? Hum……………. If not, you're just as intelligent as him.

  3. My phone samsung S8+ is made for Verizon..yet it has a sim tray..and under setting it has IMEI..not MEID or ESN. And Verizon is only CDMA? How's that possible that my phone is GSM and works under Verizon carrier?

  4. Ok, If it's CDMA it has a sim card except when it doens't. If If it GSM it doesn't have a sim card except when it does. >mind blown<
Hint – if it's an apple iPhone 6 or higher, it's both. @ITJungles please take down this video. It's extremely unhelpful and you need to redo it.

  5. This is the first video that comes up when you search "how to tell if your iphone 6s uses cdma or gsm." Come on, Google! Really??

  6. EXCELLENT EXPLANATION, this guy would be a good teacher, because his way of explaining is "PHENOMENAL"
The ONLY bad thing is that in the end I did not understand ANYTHING!!!

  7. All iPhones 6 and after are both cdma and gsm the only problem you may run into is that your carrier locked the phone.

  8. Most new phones all has some trays of some sort look it up. The other thing is if the phone is a LTE network compatible phone regardless of CDMA or GSM it will have a SIM tray you need to do better research
